Of all the publicity shots by Universal, this by far is the oddest taken of June, although she does look like she's having one whale of a fun ride. The caption reads: "Ride 'Em Cowgirl! June Marlowe, Universal player, challenges any western star to best her in this sort of rough riding. Oscar, the ostrich, is the Man O' War of the ostrich farm."

In fact, June could challenge any western star to best her in rough riding, as she was an excellent horsewoman.
