A little known fact about June's career is that she was very much in demand as a photographer's model, whether for studio publicity shoots or as a fashion model. Photographs of June were featured regularly in both the Los Angeles Times and the Los Angeles Herald newspapers throughout the 20's. Look in just about any Sunday fashion supplement of either paper and likely as not you would find a photograph of June. To say she was merely photogenic is, of course, an understatement. June not only had classic beauty, but an inner beauty which translated well to film, whether that film be movie or still.
