As mentioned elsewhere, June was known as the "Girl With The Soulful Eyes."
      This photograph certainly illustrates why.

      Regarding the autograph, "L. Allen Smith" was a journalist during the 40's and 50's who wrote a newspaper column titled "Circle Of Stars" and collected photographs and autographs from Hollywood luminaries. This photograph and autograph is from his collection.

      Although the photo itself is of a younger June Marlowe, it is one of the very few signed by June after her retirement.
      It is interesting to compare with the "official" (studio enhanced) autograph that adorns many of June's photos.
