A Personal Note From June

In May of 1928, June sent (a fan?) a personal note written on the back of this photograph, which says
"Many thanks for your lovely letter and drawings. With your kind permission I am keeping one of them."

It is known that June liked to put her keepsakes in special places. It would be interesting to see what drawing June felt was meaningful enough to keep, or what the circumstances were surrounding the drawings themselves.

Also, the photo reminds one of a youngish "Miss Crabtree" (and how!) and predates the blonde schoolmarm by a couple of years.
