A Samuel Bischoff Productions Release
December 1926 - 6 Reels
Directed by Noel Mason Smith

FEATURED CAST
Silverstreak The Dog
Johnny Walker
and
June Marlowe (as Janet Morgan)

Just when one would think June would get a diversity of roles with Universal they do a one-eighty and begin to cast her as the "young innocent," and opposite their dog star!

In this case, Silverstreak was a Rin-Tin-Tin imitator who appeared in a few movies during the 1920s and June appeared in two of them.  This, the first pairing, cast June as a "sweet young secretary" who is involved with the other characters in a "figure out the heir to the fortune" film (it eventually went to the dog ... as did the film, apparently).

Critics for the most part did not like the film, the dog stunts, nor the acting.  Photoplay noted June "..battled bravely to put life into (a) thankless role."  The best Variety could say of June was that she wasn't "..extraordinarily interesting and hasn't a very interesting role

Next up for June, another film taken from a best selling novel.  The novel may have been a best seller, but the film was not.

This film is unavailable for viewing.
