Between releasing June in back to back Rin-Tin-Tin films, Warner Brothers cast her in a small role in support of Irene Rich. Along for the ride were Warners feature players John Harron and Gayne Whitman, each of whom would appear with June in other films.

The plot to this film could have happened only in the early days of movies (or modern day soap
operas). It is the story of a well known attorney who must prosecute his own son on a charge of manslaughter. The
son is innocent of course. Irene Rich and June stand by the son throughout and it all works itself out by the end. Reviews of the film made a point to a) pan the film, and b) wonder what the heck the title of the film had to do with the story! |
June's part was rather small in this film. In her next, she would have plenty to do, especially with the help of her old friend Rin-Tin-Tin.
Photograph is from the collection of Don Spears.
